Overview:
The first version of the Green Dwarf Tech website was built as the official digital identity of the company. As a newly founded tech firm, it needed a site that was clean, fast, and professional, yet simple enough to maintain with no CMS or backend load. Version 1.0 was a pure static site aimed at presenting the brand, services, and contact details in a minimal but impactful way.
The goal was to provide visitors – especially potential clients – with a quick overview of the company’s mission, services, and core values. The design was carefully laid out to feel light, modern, and credible.
How It Was Built:
This version was built using pure HTML5 and CSS3, with a focus on semantic structure and optimised styling. No frameworks or libraries were used, keeping the load time under a second on most networks. Media queries were used to ensure responsiveness across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
The site used a single-page scroll structure with anchor links, eliminating page reloads and ensuring faster navigation. Light animation effects (CSS transitions) were used to make hover states and navigation interactive, without introducing any JavaScript.
